The great 2.0 update for Heroes of the Storm is imminent and developer Blizzard is celebrating the event with a livestream event on Twitch. On April 25th from 8 p.m. Central European Summer Time you will find out all the important details live. In addition to interviews with members of the development team, a show match of the 2 best HGC teams awaits us. The first video of the new hero Genji will also be shown.

The live broadcast starts on April 25th at 8 p.m. CEST:

What is Heroes of the Storm 2.0?

Whoever has missed everything that belongs to 2.0 will of course receive a summary from the moderators, Anna Prosser Robinson and Kevin Johnson. Supported by Game Director Alan Dabiri and Lead Hero Designer Kent-Erik Hagman, there will be a lot of information on all changes in the Nexus. Of course, we also expect details about the new Hanamura, Genji and much more.

Hanamura the new battlefield

To that new scenario to initiate accordingly, there is no better way than a show match between two top teams.  Team FNATIC and Team Dignitas have been invited to this event and will be the first to cross blades in a friendly game.

The matches were played a few hours before the stream, the commentators Wade "Dreadnaught" Penfold and Thomas "Khaldor" Kilian are however live in the studio and explain the events.

The first of the 5 matches is followed by the video premiere and the introduction of the new hero. A lot of voices and information from the developers will also follow. In addition, there are extensive details on the rewards that can be received when completing the Nexus Challenge 2.0.

The remaining 4 Hanamura matches between Team Dignitas and FNATIC follow as a worthy end to the celebration.

If you missed the Heroes of the Storm 2.0 open beta test and want to get all the relevant information about the future, then this stream is exactly the right one for you.
