GWEN's first ranking season is coming to an end soon. The developers announced the official end of the first season tonight at midnight on August 27th.
The season was originally supposed to last about 2 months, but has now been significantly longer. Since GWENT is still in public beta, everything has been delayed a bit. So the developers also had to define the rewards and the transition to the next season.
There are special Portrait Borders and an Imlerith Avatar rewards for the best:
There are also titles depending on the position achieved and the ranking points. For the ranking points, the developers have determined that a third of them will be carried over into the next season. So not all of them start from scratch. In this way, the developers also prevent newbies and absolute professional players from meeting at the start of the season and taking away the fun from each other.
Possible new ranking list with minimum requirements
There was particularly interesting information about a new type of ladder. The full details have not yet been revealed, but at least 4200 ranking points should be required to participate. So probably a kind of Legendary or Masters ranking list for the top players and everyone who wants to make a name for themselves. The developers promise more information about this at gamescom.
