The preliminary round of League of Legends World Championship 2017 has begun. Group A and B played the first matches today in the early Central European period. Since the tournament takes place in China, the times for the matches are a bit unusual for us and sometimes we have to get up early or watch the videos in peace in the evening.
The League of Legends World Championship has started
Groups A and B were the first to try to get into the main round.
Group a:
- Team WE (LPL)
- Gambit (LCL)
- Lyon Gaming (LLN)
Group B:
- Cloud9 (NA LCS)
- Team oNe Esports (CBLoL)
- Dire Wolves (OPL)
In the round robin format, each team plays against each other in the group and every two days. The 2 teams with the best final result then move on to the 2nd round.
