Heroes of the Storm - Patch brings the Medivh / Sonya changes from the PTR

Heroes of the Storm

The new Heroes of the Storm patch brings the announced changes at Medivh and Sonya, which we have already presented in detail.

There were also several adjustments to the recently released heroine Ana. The Blizzard development team also provides a detailed explanation of the reasons behind this.

Heroes of the Storm - Ana too strong?

"Developer comment: While Ana's win rate currently beats most other healers, exceeding 50 %, we've made some changes to make her feel more meaningful in teams with her as the sole supporter. In addition to the improved opportunities for self-preservation through Shrike, we took the opportunity to match their talents as well. While there are no major exception cases in win rates, some of their talents are picked much more often than others. We have tried to take on most of these talents, hopefully giving Ana players some new strategic choices. We had a lot of fun with these changes internally and look forward to seeing what the players can think of. "

Some adjustments that were shown on the public test server were not uploaded to the live server after appropriate consideration and feedback. For example: Samuro:

  • Samuro: Can no longer swap places with a reflection in the Allied Hall of Storms.
    • After some deliberation, we believe that this tactic can lead to sophisticated moves, so we decided to undo this change.
