The newest Fortnite Update brings the cool ones Vending machines for the battle royale. There you can throw in superfluous materials and get useful loot without any calories.

Each of the new vending machines has 3 offers with different objects. The rarity is coincidental. However, the places where the vending machines were placed are not random. The players are already eagerly browsing the landscape and the known positions are available as an overview map:

There is also a fresh game mode: High explosive 2.0

Here you are never safe of your life, not even if there is no enemy in sight. Remotely detonated explosive charges and missiles with remote control can catch you at any time if you just give up your attention. The full rules for Limited Time Mode can be found below.

Fortnite egg thrower

The Easter egg thrower For save the world may come a little late, but that shouldn't prevent anyone from having fun with it.

After lengthy tests, the first changes in accuracy are now being made on the live servers. This is how various weapons get accuracy with the first shot:

  • Silenced submachine gun
  • Tactical submachine gun
  • pistol
  • Silenced pistol
  • revolver
  • Hand cannon
  • Assault rifle
  • Volley assault rifle

If the player stands still while aiming and the weapon has not been fired, the first shot has 100% accuracy. This is indicated by a closed crosshair.

WEAPONS AND ITEMS

  • Vending machines are now in the game.
    • They can be found in different places on the map.
    • Each vending machine randomly chooses a rarity. All items sold have this rarity.
      • Common (white) items cost 100 materials.
      • Unusual (green) items cost 200 materials.
      • Rare (blue) items cost 300 materials.
      • Epic (purple) type items cost 400 materials.
      • Legendary (golden) items cost 500 materials.
    • There are three items in each vending machine, one for each type of material (wood, stone, metal).
      • After a short time, the three objects alternate. To swap items through faster, use your pickaxe on the vending machine.
    • The available items can be bought as often as you like.
  • Many weapons now have first-shot accuracy.
    • Weapons included:
      • Silenced submachine gun
      • Tactical submachine gun
      • pistol
      • Silenced pistol
      • revolver
      • Hand cannon
      • Assault rifle
      • Volley assault rifle
    • If you stand still while aiming and the gun has not been fired, the first shot will be accurate to 100 %.
      • When activated, the crosshairs will be completely closed to indicate this state.
    • The damage reduction has been adjusted for the weapons with accuracy on the first shot.
      • Silenced submachine gun and tactical submachine gun
        • Damage reduction starts at 24 yards.
        • At 35 meters, the damage is reduced to 80 %.
        • At 50 meters, damage is reduced to 65 %.
      • Pistol and Silenced Pistol
        • Damage reduction starts at 28 yards.
        • At 47.5 meters, damage is reduced to 85 %.
        • At 70 meters, damage is reduced to 75 %.
        • At 250 meters, damage is reduced to 65 %.
      • Revolver and hand cannon
        • Damage reduction starts at 35 yards.
        • At 60 meters, damage is reduced to 70 %.
        • At 85 meters, damage is reduced to 40 %.
      • Assault rifle and volley assault rifle
        • Damage reduction starts at 50 yards.
        • At 75 meters, damage is reduced to 80 %.
        • At 100 meters the damage is reduced to 65 %.
    • The damage multiplier for headshots has been reduced to 2x (from 2.5x) for weapons with accuracy on first shot.
  • Rotational speed of the guided missile has been reduced.
    • The turning radius is now 2.5 tiles (previously 1 tile).

GAMEPLAY

  • Limited time mode: High explosive 2.0
    • General
      • Removed non-explosive weapons.
      • Friendly fire deactivated.
      • 1:50 subtracted from the waiting time for the first four storms (20 s / 30 s / 30 s / 30 s).
    • Supply deliveries
      • Spawns 50 more % consumables.
      • Spawn 100 % more materials.
      • 50 % chance of Legendary Guided Missile being dropped.
    • Adjustments for prey on the ground
      • Materials per pick up spawn at 60/90/120 for wood / stone / metal.
      • Materials appear 50 % more often.
      • Ammunition shows up 50 % more often.
      • Pulse grenades have been added to the loot on the ground.
      • Traps appear less often 50 %.
    • Other loot adjustments:
      • The number of missiles dropped has been increased (Floor: 4 - 6 | Chests: 8 | Stock: 12 | Box: 16 | Llama: 20).
      • Grenades, pulse grenades and remote detonators are dropped 100 % more times.
      • Bandages 50 % are dropped less often, Medkit and slurping juice 50 % more frequently.
      • Spike trap has been deactivated, jumping surfaces and campfires spawn in a 1: 1 ratio.
      • Missile launchers drop 100 % more times.
      • Guided missiles are dropped 100 % more times.
  • Resource amounts when collecting have been adjusted
    • The values for most of the wood resources have been increased by approximately 10 %.
    • Deviation of resources and items has been reduced. Formerly +/- 30 %, now +/- 15 %.
      • This means that an item with a 100 base resource value could have been worth 70 to 130 resources. Now it's worth 85 to 115 resources.
    • This does not affect any time-limited modes.

  • Easter egg thrower
    • Throws explosive eggs that remain on the ground.
    • When enemies get close to the eggs, they will explode after a short delay.
    • A maximum of 6 eggs can be active at the same time.
