Cyberpunk 2077 is probably one of the most longed-for games at the moment and that although little is known about it so far. The makers behind The Witcher So far they have been very reluctant to provide information and the confirmation of an E3 presentation is all the more exciting.

The E3 is one of the largest trade shows for computer games and takes place annually in Los Angeles. This year from June 12th to 14th. The announcement of a CD Projekt Red presentation centered around an RPG can only be the idea of Cyberpunk 2077 in the eyes of most fans.

After the unprecedented success of The Witcher 3, the team had long since made it clear that the next game would not be set in Geralt's world and would focus on Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 - Dark Future

The Cyberpunk Genre takes place in a dystopian future world that is dominated by large corporations. The books of William Gibson's Neuromancer Trilogy are arguably the most popular and have a huge fan base. The descriptions of cyberspace and how hackers hack their way through neural interfaces and practically exist in the "matrix" give a glimpse into the future, which may not be that far away. What was pure science fiction when the cyberpunk genre emerged in the 80s, is now a whole step closer with VR glasses

Cynics may also argue that corporate giants like Google are already heading towards one thing that is dominant Mega-corporation to tend.

Maybe that's what makes this world so fascinating and increases the tension as the Witcher team will implement this scenario. At the same time, it is a real test for the designers and game developers who plunge into a new world here that has little to do with Geralt's fantasy world.

So we can only hope that the E3 presentation really concerns Cyberpunk 2077 and a new megahit awaits us.
