Esports are growing in popularity as well Rocket League is no exception, the publisher has now announced 1 million prize money for season 6.

In terms of Rocket League Esports, the 6th season has started. And this caused a sensation not only because of the prize money, but also because of the reintroduction of the Rival Series Open Qualifiers. These are 2 tournaments each in North America and Europe, in which the teams can compete for places in the Rival Series. After the 4 qualifying tournaments, the remaining 128 best teams will play in the play-in phase, then for the 4 spots in the Rival Series.

The dates for the tournaments are already there:

    • From now until August 6, 2018
  • North America Qualifier
    • August 11 - 10:00 a.m. PDT
    • August 18 - 10:00 a.m. PDT
    • August 21 - 3:00 a.m. PDT
    • August 25 - 10:00 a.m. PDT
  • European Qualifiers
    • August 12 - 11:00 a.m. GMT
    • August 19 - 11:00 a.m. GMT
    • August 22nd - 3:00 a.m. GMT
    • August 26 - 11:00 a.m. GMT
  • Rival Series Play-in
    • North America September 1st
    • Europe September 2nd
  • RLCS league begins
    • North America September 8th
    • Europe September 9th
  • Rival Series League begins
    • September 14, 2018
