Assassin's Creed: Origins

Live action trailers (with real actors) are slowly becoming more and more fashionable and also for Ubisofts Assassin's Creed: Origins a cinematic video was shot.

Over 200 extras should be involved and provide the appropriate preparation for the new assassin game in ancient Egypt. The video's narrator also lends to the main character Bayek his voice in the game. The title  "I am" fits the description of the origin of the myth about the assassins and their conviction, their “creed”.

Assassin's Creed: Origins - The Origin of the Brotherhood

Assassin's Creed: Origins brings the game series back to its origins and is set in ancient Egypt. The player in the guise of the protagonist Bayek explores the largely open world, fulfills orders, loots better equipment and weapons and thus becomes an ever better assassin.

The biggest change to the previous parts is that Missing of the minimap which has been replaced by a TES: Skyrim-like compass. This points in the direction of the next quest or waypoint.

Bayek disposes of the Eagle Senu via a companion he can use to scout the area. So you can spin circles over a fortress with Senu and spy out the paths of the guards etc. In contrast to the mini map, you only have information that is visible from above, you should still be prepared for hidden guards or traps under roofs.

The combat system has also been revised and offers Hit zones significantly more variety. Balancing offensive and defensive with the shield also requires more tactics. The shield also offers the useful feature that blocked arrows can be used yourself.

Assassin's Creed: Origins will be released on November 27th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The price should be between 57.99 € (PC) and 69.99 € (consoles).
