There is not really a lot of information about the game and the background story. However, it is clear that we can expect a lot of action and a zombie seems to be seen in a short picture. Maybe the Nazi Zombies from the DLC will return for the last part.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII in the Blizzard Launcher

Another detail is a new option on the official Call of Duty website, where you can set up your account with the Battle.net link. 2017 appeared on the Blizzard platform with Destiny 2 first time a non-Blizzard developed game via Battle.net. What was then still called an exception and with the popularity of Destiny 2 was declared by the Blizzard developers, now seems to be standard. Activision is using the extremely good name and the existing infrastructure of the Battle.Net program to publish its range.

How this will affect in the long term remains to be seen. After all, Blizzard has stood for very good games with very long support times for decades. For example, Diablo II, which is over 15 years old, is still running and even receives updates from time to time. It remains to be seen whether the same standards will apply to the products in Battle.net in the future.

Apart from that, the anticipation for the new one remains Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII, which will be released on October 12 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
