The press release from came out very surprisingly today Bandai Namco regarding the displacement of Code Vein. Having in the past few months tons of gameplay, story and other trailers were published and the game looked relatively finished, the statement was made that the for the 28.9.2018 planned publication is moved.

As stated in the announcement, the reactions from the press and fans were consistently positive. Nevertheless, the developers would like to take more time for fine-tuning. In the additional time, the collected feedback, for example from fans who were able to play the game at trade fairs like E3, should be implemented. This will hopefully make the finished product even better and exceed the expectations of the fans.

Another reason could also be the mass of games that are still pending for the rest of the year and some of which should be published very soon. So could Code Vein avoid the danger of being drowned in the crowd.
