Diablo 3 - Patch 2.6.1
One of the main goals of Blizzard in this patch was to bring all classes to the same Greater Rift (Nephalimportal) level as possible. Of course there are still classes and builds that differ by 5-10 levels. Nevertheless, the differences are much smaller than in season 11.
So now there are barbarians with a whirlwind in business or demon hunters with close combat build.
The biggest change was probably with the wizards, where the classic Ice Orb from Diablo 2 times was revived. Also, not every wizard build is based on the Archon Skill anymore.
Reported in a blog the developers about the motivations for the individual decisions.
According to the first experiences of the PTR players, necromancers are probably still at the top end of the Greater Rift leaderboards, but all other classes should be able to achieve 100+ rifts with corresponding Paragon points.
So far there is only that English patch notes in the forum, as soon as the German Diablo 3 page has been updated, we will deliver the German version. But not much has changed anymore.
