Final Fantasy XV

After finding out more about our friend and bodyguard Gladiolus in the first Final Fantasy XV DLC episode Gladiolus, we now face a new challenge with Episode Prompto. As expected with the naming, this time we slip into the skin of Prompto. In the arctic region near Niflheim, Prompto is separated from the group around Prince Noctis and has to fight for his own survival.

Final Fantasy XV will get at least 3 story DLCs and a multiplayer expansion

With the revolver in hand, Prompto sets off on the journey to his birthplace. Only there can he find information about his mysterious origin. At this point the warning, the trailer contains several spoilers about the story. So if you want to tackle the episode completely unencumbered, you should wait a while before watching the video.

Episode Prompto will be released as DLC for Final Fantasy XV on June 27th and will cost € 4.99. Season Pass owners will of course receive the package for free. The 3rd DLC, Episode Ignis, will also be part of the Season Pass. Then each of the 3 companions on Prince Nocti's journey had their own adventure. Fans of Final Fantasy XV are particularly looking forward to the fact that the sometimes large gaps in the story are closed.

Because that was one of the few points of criticism that Final Fantasy XV had to put up with when it was released. As epic and huge as the story of the war between Lucis and Niflheim may be, if you don't add all the additional media such as webcomics, the film Final Fantasy Kingsglaive and the DLC together, there are quite a few gaps. Square Enix has taken this criticism to heart and added some background story to the game in the first updates.
