Fortnite Patch V.3.3. is now live and brings not only the nasty remote ignition charge but also the cute supply llamas in Battle Royale mode. For Rette Die Welt, on the other hand, there is a completely new series of orders with treasures, mythical creatures and all sorts of other surprises.

The Remote ignition charge  lets you destroy entire buildings from a safe distance, at least after you've installed them. We have the video at the beginning of the article.

These funny little animals now also provide you with supplies in Battle Royale, but have a tendency to hide something so that you have to look for them first.

Fortnite V3.3. - General changes

General

Bug fixes

  • If players jump now, it is less detrimental to server performance and uses less bandwidth.
  • Korean, Japanese, and Chinese languages are now displayed correctly in the user interface after changing the language during the game.

Fortnite Battle Royale changes

Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to mobile!

  • Click hereto register for the Invitation Event for iOS.

Weapons and objects

  • The remote ignition charge is now in play.
    • Frequency level: rare
    • Can be found in Supply Llamas, Treasure Chests, on the Ground, and in Supply Ships.
    • Found in stacks of 4 (maximum stacking: 10)
  • The smoke grenade has been removed from the game for the time being.

Bug fixes

  • The "hunting rifle without a telescopic sight" is now simply called "hunting rifle".
  • When projectiles from the hunting rifle hit the area, graphic effects now appear.

Gameplay

  • Limited time mode: Lightning fast
    * ATTENTION: This mode will be available from 19.03. be playable.

    • The storm takes less time in a flash, which leads to faster and more intense matches!
      • Matches last a maximum of 15 minutes.
    • By the time the match starts, the eye of the storm is already shrinking.
    • The availability of loot has been adjusted:
      • Chances of treasure chests spawning increased from 50–70 % to 80–90 %.
      • Chances of ammo boxes spawning increased from 65–80 % to 85–95 %.
      • Prey on the ground has a near 100 chance to spawn %.
      • Time between supply deliveries reduced from 180 seconds (+/- 30 seconds) to 80 seconds (+/- 20 seconds).
      • Landing time of supply shipments decreased from 60 seconds to 30 seconds.
      • Jump surfaces are much more likely to spawn.
    • Double the amount of resources is harvested.
    • Loot resources increased from 30 to 100.
    • Chest health increased from 200 to 500.
    • Ammo crate health increased from 120 to 250.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused stairs to rotate unintentionally.
  • Fixed an issue where the collision with eliminated players would persist, making it difficult to pick up their dropped items.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the News window as it would no longer appear after selecting Battle Royale.
  • Fixed the issue where characters would sometimes look the wrong way when looking at them outside of missions.

Graphics / animations

  • The circular graphic effect of impacting bullets has been updated to make it easier to see which direction the shot was coming from.

Audio

Bug fixes

  • Fixed the stuttering of gunshot noises that occurred when firing an automatic weapon with low ammo in the magazine.
  • Fixed an issue where gunshot noises and other sounds were louder than normal.

performance

  • The effects of applying a shield have been updated to improve performance.

Fortnite - Save The World Changes

The balance adjustments of critical hit chances from Update V.3.2 will be reset in this patch. In addition, errors and balance problems of value limits are fixed.

Gameplay

  • The next chapter of the Spring storm is here: stormy luck.
    • Cases with outrageous luck, deceptive treasures, creatures half mythical creatures, half advertising figures, spring-like storm nonsense ... all of this has to be discovered or fought!
    • As job rewards, you can pick up an epic leprechaun survivor and one of these three legendary heroes with a St. Patrick's Day theme:
      • Luck Destroyer Wildcat
      • Highland warrior Wildcat
      • Battle dog Jonesy
  • Upper limits have been adjusted.
    • The upper limits of the basic hero values that are shared in the group have been returned to their old state and are now based on the limits of their own basic hero values.
      • When a high-level friend joins a player duo, they can share enough hero's core stats to match the stats of a group of four. For this, the friend's level must be well above that of the other two players.
    • The base hero values in Steinwald have been reset to the threshold values at the end of the chapter.
    • In all three other chapters, the hero's base value upper limits have been increased.
      • Towards the middle of Plankerton, the limits are slowly leveled out, with the leveling out on higher levels of difficulty becoming more and more consistent.
      • These caps are now at or above what they were when the game was released:
        • The top 2 levels of difficulty of Plankerton.
        • The top 3 levels of difficulty of Bru Valley.
        • The top 4 levels of difficulty of Twine Peaks.
    • Weapon level caps have been increased to better match character level caps.
      • The initial cap has been increased from 12 to 20.
      • The upper limits increase in steps of ten until they reach 50.
    • The level caps of weapons and characters are now increasing earlier for some difficulty levels.
  • All heroes weapon skill increased to 50.
    • This allows low-level players to use high-level weapons effectively in high-level areas.
    • With this change, the weapon skills in the skill tree will no longer work like this. We will be replacing or removing these skills in a future patch.

Bug fixes

  • The upper limits of storm shield defenses were lower than intended and were increased to the intended values (according to the missions at the end of the chapter).

Weapons and objects

  • Critical hit chance of weapon and trap advantages of 11,5/16,5/21 % on 14/21/28 % elevated.
    • This will cancel the changes to the critical hit chance from Patch V.3.2.

Heroes

  • The Shamrock Champion (Explorer) is now available in the Event Shop.

Bug fixes

  • In the explorer sub-class Flash, the bag Lama is now unlocked at level 1 and the phase change at level 2.
  • Fixed an issue where Eagle Eye Flash and Flash AC's abilities and traps would not scale with tech.
  • Fixed an issue preventing Eagle Eye Flash and Flash AC from interacting with Level 1 fragments.
  • The turbo area no longer grants device points every time it is used.

Audio

  • A new sound is heard when you put an item in the locker.
  • New sounds are played when you click on items in the collection.
