The Fortnite Today on Reddit, developers have an update of the roadmap, i.e. the future plans, for the save the world Mode posted. This describes the next 4 major patches until mid-May.

Here are the highlights:

• Patch 3.6 in the week of April 23
  • Here we mainly expect improvements in energy weapons and ammunition, which will be much easier to find and manufacture.
• Patch 4.0 in the week of April 30th
  • A brand new event
  • Shadow Ops Heroes
  • A military weapon set
  • New soldier skills
• Patch 4.1 in the week of 7.5.
  • New weapon
  • New hero
• Patch 4.2 in the week of May 15
  • Perk Reroll, the possibility to roll out the modifiers of weapons

The dates are not set in stone, but give an approximate overview of when the individual features await us.

We're back with another roadmap update! Since the last update we've released v.3.5 which included a new event with a new questline, new heroes and weapons and a new biome. Here's some upcoming things we have planned:

• Energy ammo improvements
  • 25% more ammo per craft
  • 50% more bacon in the world
  • 20% more Energy ammo in the world

Patch 4.0 (Week of 4/30)
