The developers of GWENT react with a quick patch to the current balance problems that have arisen since the midwinter update. In addition to the small adjustments, the GWENT team from CD Projekt Red is still working on a major update.
Changes in this patch concern on the one hand Vreemde, which can be ground for the next 3 days for the full value. This means that players who have specially made it have no disadvantage. There is also the increased grinding value for "Sleeping Giant", which was unfortunately forgotten in the midwinter update.
Regardless of the ongoing updates, the next big esports tournament, the GWENT Open #3. It starts on January 20th at 4 p.m. and as always the action will be live on the CD Projekt Red's Twitch Channel transfer. So take a look when 8 top players fight each other for 25,000 US dollars.
Patch notes for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game
We just released a small update for GWENT on PC, Xbox One and PS4!
The update removes the "damn" attribute from slave infantry and changes Vreemde back to a silver epic card with the same abilities. Decks with this leader will be cleared. We also addressed an issue with “slave driver” that will no longer copy itself.
For everyone who has made Vreemde as a guide, we are increasing the meal values for the next 3 days. The same goes for Sleeping Giant, which we unfortunately forgot for the midwinter update. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Other cards, like Shilard and Eist, have been tweaked and are now working as intended - they weren't mentioned in the 0.9.19 update changelog. To understand: Shilard's ability will not work if both players have no cards in their decks and Eist will not summon a clan veteran as the ability is intended to make soldiers appear and not support.
We have also fixed the minimum MMR for ranks 20 (4250) and 21 (4500). End-of-season rewards for these ranks are 10 kegs for rank 20 and 11 kegs for rank 21.
The team is also working on another patch that is expected to appear in the coming weeks.
See you on the battlefield!
