The designer team at GWENT has opened a public test server (PTR) to better test new balance changes. After that Midwinter update before Christmas a bit rushed came along, should now be tried and tested more. Of course, this requires the cooperation of the players who play on the PTR. In this first test phase, the PTR is open until February 5th, so if you want to look at the new map adjustments, you shouldn't wait too long.

Because the more feedback the developers get, the better GWENT will be for everyone.

“We have just opened our public test realm (PTR) for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. With this test realm we would like to show you balance changes that will come into the game with the following update. Since the participation of the community is important for the success of every PTR, share your feedback with us, and if you see bugs - please report them to our technical support!

Keep in mind that the number of simultaneous players on a PTR is limited, so you may not be able to get in directly. Once you are on the PTR, you will have the full collection of cards and your level will be set to 1. Rewards received on the PTR will not carry over to the main game.

The GWENT PTR is only available on the PC and in English. In order to be able to join the test server, you have to be logged in to your GOG Galaxy software. Click “MORE” (next to the “PLAY” button and select “Settings”. Switch the beta channels “on” and then select the “OBT PTR” channel. You can start right away as soon as the PTR build is downloaded.
