After his stop on the Test server comes Fenix now finally on the Heroes of the Storm Live server. With today's update, not only does the great Protoss hero appear, the celebrations for StarCraft's 20th anniversary also begin.

Heroes of the Storm celebrates StarCraft's birthday

In honor of the StarCraft franchise, there are not only 3 free portraits when you log in, but also one big livestream event on March 30th / 31st.

A few small things have changed in the patch compared to the PTR version. For example the new hero chaos:

Heroic chaos

  • New Cooperative Hero Chaos: Defending Deadman's Port
    • Deadman's Port is attacked by the voracious zerg swarm.
      • Choose a hero from a limited selection and defend the fortifications together with your allies.
      • Keep the charging zerg at bay long enough for Mira Han to activate the psi disruptor.
      • Be on the lookout for the infested heroes and hideous plagued archangels that have been seen in the area.
    • You can find all information about the hero chaos in Deadman's Port Defense Preview Blog. Get ready to face the surging zerg waves from Friday, March 30th!

Furthermore, what else could you expect from this legend, Fenix was a little too strong. So some small damage numbers and values have been adjusted:

values

  • Basic attack damage reduced from 100 to 96

Skills

  • Plasma cutter (Q)
    • Damage reduced from 150 to 145

Talents

  • step 1
    • Improved target activation (Q)
      • Bonus damage per stack decreased from 1 to 0.75.
      • Maximum bonus damage reduced from 80 to 75

In addition, changes to Tracer, Varian, Li Li, and the user interface have been further improved. The full Heroes of the Storm patch notes are available here, on Blizzard's official site.
