Already in the last big one Heroes of the Storm Patch became a Voice chat Function built into the game, but was previously deactivated. With today's update, Voice Chat is now available and can be used in matches.
Heroes of the Storm - Voice chat
In the future, teams and groups will now have the option of voice chat in order to be able to better coordinate themselves in battle. To do this, voice chat must be activated when entering a game or the group lobby. So you don't automatically hear strange voices all of a sudden.
In the settings you can adjust the volume of your microphone and your teammates. You can also make settings such as push-to-talk there, as well as automatically joining voice chat. If you don't have a microphone, you can still join the voice chat and hear your team's announcements.
In addition to the new Voicehat, Maiev also caught a few "nerfs" in the patch:
values
- Health reduced from 2,236 to 2,150.
- Health regeneration reduced from 4.66 to 4.48 per second
Skills
- Guardian's Reflexes (Trait)
- The cooldown has been increased from 8 to 9 seconds.
- Dagger fan (Q)
- Damage reduced from 170 to 162
Talents
- Level 16
- Means to an end (passive)
- Damage bonus reduced from 25 to 20 %.
- Avenger Daggers (E)
- The damage bonus per hero hit has been increased from 1 to 1.2 %.
- Means to an end (passive)
Developer comment: With the am February 9 published changes, we were able to bring Maiev's win rate to the level of ordinary mortals, but overall it was still a little too powerful. Today's changes reduce both their resilience and their instant damage potential. Our data shows that the majority of their talents are well balanced, but we will keep a close eye on them as players adapt to certain play styles in the future.
The complete patch notesn and one detailed explanation of the voice chat are provided by the developers on the Heroes of the Storm homepage.
