Horizon Zero Dawn The Frozen Wilds

Horizon Zero Dawn can without exaggeration call itself one of the best new games of 2017 and with the upcoming expansion "The Frozen Wilds“It gets better.

The developers at Guerrilla Games have now given a glimpse behind the scenes and revealed some details about the expansion.

Although it has only been 8 months since Horizon Zero Dawn was released, the developers are bringing out a fairly extensive expansion. At least 15 hours of additional content is promised by the extension. There are also new side quests in addition to the main quest.

But that's only the tip of the iceberg, there will also be a new photo mode and in the first examples you could see how Aloy posed for the camera at the Snow Angel.

Solid new functions for playability, new capabilities are added with the add-on. Some are more practical in nature, like gathering resources while on a mount. Others are useful in combat, such as the saddle jump attack that catapults Aloy onto the enemy and does a lot of damage.

In the northern areas of the Frozen Wilds Aloy also meets the Banuk tribe and has to face their challenges before she can look for further clues about her past and origins. The events play before the final from Horizon Zero Dawn, if you have already finished the game, you have to load a save before the finale. Or you take the opportunity to play the game all over again and take a different path with the new skills.

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds will be released on November 7th and, like the main game, is of course PlayStation 4 Exclusive. So it's just in time to spoil the Xbox One X Launch Party.
