The League of Legends World Championship is getting closer and the balancing changes are more focused on the competitive side. With the return of “URF (all random)” soon, there is also something for pure fun.
A change that everyone has asked about right at the beginning:
There is finally a ping that you can use to signal your team “Here is a ward”!
This function must first be set under keyboard assignments. There is not enough space on the signal wheel, but the possibility to warn your jungler at the push of a button is finally here.
League of Legends - Champion Changes Highlights
Caitlyn: Your Q damage to targets after the first has been reduced. The W Traps damage bonus is reduced from 0.7 total attack damage to 0.6.
Fiora: The movement speed reduction during her Ultimate has been reduced a bit.
Maokai: Though planting trees is always a good thing, in the case of Maokai the sprouts were a little too strong in the early game.
- E: Instead of 8% at all ranks, it now does 6 / 6.5 / 7 / 7.5 / 8 % of the target's maximum health as damage.
- E Reduced from 16% to 12/13/14/15/16 % of target's maximum health in High Grass.
Sion: The mid-season weakening of the tank items hit Sion harder than intended. So Riot gives it a little more stability. His W now gives him 3 instead of 2 life per minion killed. Sion's Ultimate Unstoppable Onslaught has been given increased damage to make him a better team fighter.
R: MAXIMUM DAMAGE from 300/600/900 on 400/800/1200
VI: Should cause a little more individual damage and thus be able to do their main goal more easily. For this, your Ultimate gets a reduced cooldown of 150/115/80 seconds on 130/100/70 seconds.
Some hit effects no longer trigger when attacking wards. Aatrox third blow, Jax third strike during his ultimate, the hit effects through Jayce R metamorphosis arise as well Riven's Passive charges of the rune blade are no longer "wasted" on wards / eyes.
WM balance for the midlane
Cassiopeia should be a strong early game champion, but not be reduced to blunt e spam to win the lane. Base mana decreased, mana increase per level increased and the passive damage against poisoned targets adjusted.
Corki: Changed basic attack damage from 58 to 55.
Fizz: Decreased cooldown on E - Playful / Deceiver
Galio:
In professional hands with the appropriate coordination of the ultimat it was a bit too strong. Accordingly, the damage reduction to his team members is reduced: 20/30/40 % on 20/25/30 %. In addition, the cooldown was increased by 20 seconds at rank 1 and by 10 seconds at rank 2.
Leblanc: Her Q Shardsphere destroyed entire minion waves far too easily and is now reduced in damage by 20%.
Orianna:
Since Orianna shines in all phases of the game and therefore had no real weaknesses, Riot changes several of her skills.
- W: Base damage reduced and the bullet has to be closer to the target for the Q command and the damage it causes.
- E: The shield has been weakened on all levels. From 80/120/160/200/240 on 60/100/140/180/220.
Syndra: Her continuous damage was too high for a "burst" mage to take. Q scaling reduced from 0.75 ability power to 0.65. E scaling increased from 0.5 to 0.6 ability power.
Taliyah: Due to the low mana cost, she was inherently superior to most opponents and could push the lane without appropriate items. The mana cost of Q Flurry of Stone Fragments increases from 50/55/60/65/70 mana on 60/70/80/90/100 mana.
So a whole lot of adjustments and changes that Riot is making for the equality of competition in the World Cup. Patch 7.18 should already be the final version on which the professionals fight for the crown.
In the game mode rotation, we will soon see endless action in the form of URF:
