With the new honor system, League of Legends developers reward positive players with more key fragments, including exclusive skins.

From now on you can award your team members in different categories in the new voting screen after each game. If you get 3 awards in a game, there is even a nice effect above your name in the game summary. After enough awards, your honor level increases and you get additional rewards. To restart the system, everyone starts at honor level 2. When a ranking season is reset, the honor level is also reset.

Your honor level is a long-term issue. Behave well and help your teammates instead of flaming them and you will slowly but surely level up. Because even without honors you will get some honor for your level for every match played, just slower than if you receive a lot of honors.

The rewards depend on your honor level after a game. When you reach level 2 you will receive as many key fragments as before the update and you don't even have to win the games anymore.

Key fragments are now also available exclusively through the honor system, so a real motivation to be friendly. From honor level 3 you have the chance to get special honor capsules. These go without a key and are guaranteed to contain a key fragment and the chance of champion shards. In addition, the Legacy Skins for Gray Warwick and Medieval Twitch can be included, and you even get the champion for free if you don't already have it.

Levels 4 and 5 will give you extra rewards at the end of the season, but Riot will not reveal anything about them yet.

However, you can also descend in rank. Should you receive penalties such as chat bans through the instant feedback system, you will decrease in rank. This is particularly bad because there are fewer key fragments at level 1 and none at all at level 0.
