Mass Effect: Andromeda

Who from the whole spectacle of the strange facial animations and other bugs in the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda put off buying, now gets a second chance. Electronic Arts offers a 10 hour trial version for testing.

Previously, only subscribers to the Origin Access Mass Effect: Andromeda premium service could audition. Now the offer is valid for all interested parties. In the trial version that can be downloaded from Origin, there are only 2 restrictions, otherwise the complete game with all features is available. On the one hand, you can only travel and explore the first planet Eos in the PvE campaign and, on the other hand, the entire test period is limited to 10 hours.

In multiplayer, on the other hand, only the 10 hour limit applies, otherwise there are no restrictions.

This offer applies to all platforms on which Mass Effect: Andromeda was published, i.e. PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.

A lot has happened since the release in March 2017, and the developers have released a number of updates. Including improvements to the facial animations, which were one of the biggest criticisms of the fans.

With update 1.08, for example, new options for character creation were added, including the option to change the Tempest in the game on board your spaceship. There were also new romantic options for male main characters, mainly which included partnerships of the same sex.

The latest update 1.09 implemented further improvements to the animations and introduced the Platinum difficulty level for multiplayer with a new mixed faction.

Mass Effect: Andromeda has been continuously improved since it was released, so the free trial option is just the thing. If you should buy the 4th part of the Mass Effect series after the trial period, your game progress will of course be preserved. So you can easily continue playing at the same point.
