After a whole range of hotfixes in the last few days there was the first major patch for Path of Exile. Update 3.2.0B brings the new ones Necromantic networksWith these, relatively rare nets, it is possible to catch beasts that have already been killed.

This is aimed primarily at the overly powerful characters who sweep the whole screen blank before they realize that there was a beast to be captured. However, due to the rarity of the Necromantic Nets, these are more likely to be the exception. There was even one about this feature poll for the Path of Exile players in the past few days. Characters explode corpses or “destroy” them for other spells, but cannot rely on the new nets. Without a corpse, too Along do not capture / revive anything for the menagerie.

Path of Exile Patch 3.2.0B

  • 'Necromantic Nets' have been added, a rare type of net that can be used to revive and capture beasts. This type of net is useful for characters who are struggling to capture beasts before they die. However, the rarity of the item means characters shouldn't rely solely on this type of net. (This patch does not support the resurrection of shattered and exploded monsters, or corpses removed elsewhere. We are already working on a solution.)
  • Beast crafting recipes that craft an unidentified rare item or a rare item with a specific modifier now require one less rare beast.
  • Fixed a bug where four high-end beast crafting recipes were previously unavailable.
  • The gem 'Aid: Summon Phantasm on Kill' no longer supports 'Manifest Dancing Dervish'.
  • Strong rope nets and simple iron nets now cost portal rolls instead of conversion spheres. Reinforced Iron Networks and Strong Iron Networks now cost Conversion Spheres instead of Change Spheres.
  • Monsters with the Bestiary Modifier 'Plague Flight' now use their bombing skill more frequently.
  • Fixed a bug where unlocking additional sextants on the Atlas required completing unique maps.
  • Fixed a bug where the damage from Scorching Ray totems would not stack correctly with other Scorching Ray totems.
  • Fixed a bug where Aspect Skills could create vials and jewels.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Legendary Beasts from spawning in some areas.
  • Fixed a bug where stairs to the next area would not be accessible after capturing a beast in the unique Oba's Cursed Treasure map.
  • Fixed a bug in the Night of Horror unique map where Maker of Mires would not lose its immunizing buff after Balah, Duke was captured.
  • Fixed a bug where the statues would not come to life after the basilisk was captured.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed Vilenta to escape the arena. Place, Vilenta, place.
  • Fixed a bug where unlocking additional sextants on the Atlas required completing unique maps.
  • Fixed a bug where the Herald of Ashes 'x% more fire spell damage' modifier was not applying to 'damage over time' effects applied by skills such as 'Searing Ray'.
  • Fixed a bug where some prophecies could not be completed if the target was captured and not killed.
  • Fixed a bug where scrolling in the Social Window was slower than intended.
  • Fixed a bug where the weapon switch icon would not change even though a weapon switch had been made.
  • Fixed a client crash that could occur if Summon Phantasm on Kill was set in the unique item The Whirling Dervish.
  • Fixed a client crash that occurred while breathing the flame of the final boss from Act 10 and its version from maps. In both encounters, the flame breath was reactivated. This ability was disabled in a previous patch to temporarily work around the bug. With this patch the ability is active again.
  • Various instance crashes have been fixed.
