The developers of Path of Exile, Grinding Game Gears (GGG), had the community post questions for them last month and are now gradually answering the many hundreds of questions.
Here is a small, translated overview of today's answers:
-The question about SSF guilds: So solo self-found guilds. SSF is a new game mode in the current Legacy League, in which players cannot trade, but have to get by with the items they can find. An SSF guild would have limited trading opportunities and would therefore represent a micro-economy, as it would be limited to, for example, 1-40 players.
According to GGG, this will be possible with the introduction of custom leagues. This gives the players the opportunity to create seasons according to their preferences and to contest them with their friends.
-Cyclone: The problem of sticking to small objects is in progress, with news on that later this week.
-Was GGG satisfied with the start of the Path of Exile Legacy League and did the developers come to play the game themselves? Very satisfied, although the whole launch day was reserved to solve any problems that might arise, there were no major stumbling blocks. Nevertheless, the developers are already working to get the beta for 3.0.0 ready. Unfortunately there is no time to play but even without them, Path of Exile has set a new record of simultaneous players with the Legacy League.
-Will there be a new league on the same day when 3.0 is released? Yes
-How many new skill gems will be introduced with 3.0? At the moment 2-4 are planned, but since they are still in the middle of development and will only be published if they are appropriately balanced, this number can still change.
-Why is the inventory not increased?
It should be a conscious decision which items to collect. The player should not just blindly collect hundreds of items that are thoughtlessly sold to the dealer at 99%.
-Is a higher drop rate planned for Exalted Orbs or Mirror of Kalandra? No, these items are intentionally rare and if they were dropped more often, their use as currency would also be lost.
-Will it be possible to trade items between the Path of Exile PC version and the upcoming Xbox One version? No, both are completely separate accounts and no trading is possible.
