Fans of the battle royale shooter PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS have had to be patient over the past few weeks, as new content has largely been omitted due to technical problems. The dry spell should, however, come to an end within the next week. Because developer Blue Hole Studios has announced an extensive monthly patch.
Although there are no patch notes yet and no precise details about the contents of the patch, the team did publish small hints.
Great guesswork in the PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS community
A Twitter post from the responsible developers ensures a lively discussion within the community. It clearly shows a new weapon, which at the time was a model in the development software. However, the weapon cannot be seen exactly. While part of the community believes it recognizes the AN-94 assault rifle, others assume the possibility of the Russian RPK machine gun or the Austrian Steyr AU assault rifle. However, if it were indeed the AN-94 assault rifle, there would be a weapon floating around in the world of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds that offers a two-shot mode.

In addition to the new weapon, the team will definitely be implementing some new animations. These were also presented in a short Twitter video.

Incidentally, the team has not given an exact date for the extensive monthly patch. At this point it will be a bit more exciting for fans of the title.
The battle royale shooter PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is currently still in the early access phase and has therefore not yet been finally released. Nonetheless, the game hit like a bomb. The community is growing daily, so to speak, and is also very active on Twitch of live streams.
If you want to get a picture of PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS for yourself, you can buy the game on Steam. Because for now only PC gamers can immerse themselves in the fun and battles.
