PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - In 4K on Xbox One
This announcement coincides with the announcement of Microsoft's new Xbox One X console. Their graphic power will enable PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS to be played in 4k resolution.
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is a Battle Royal Action Shooter, together with a plane load of opponents (64-128 players per map), you parachute over an island and have to survive. According to the old Highlander rule "There can only be one!", You look for weapons to take out all opponents. Weapons can be found all over the island in deserted cities, factories or small hunting lodges in the forest.
Weapons are not the only items of equipment you will find: camouflage suits, night vision devices, cars, motorcycles and MedKits, to name just a few.
Equipped in this way, you go to the final showdown and try to emerge from the battle as the last survivor.
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS has been celebrating new milestones for players and viewers on streaming platforms such as Youtube and Twitch since its early access release. The developers were able to celebrate over 2 million copies sold on May 3rd.
The upcoming Xbox One version will surely bring this number over 3 million and further increase the popularity of the action shooter.
Second programming team for the Xbox One version
Player concerns that the additional work on the Xbox version could delay updates for the PC version were directly dispelled by the developers. A complete, second team was commissioned to program the implementation. Accordingly, the development of the PC version will not suffer any delays.
The release date has only been announced at the end of 2017. You can find the video with game scenes in 4K at the beginning of the article.
