The Elder Scrolls: Legends

The studio responsible for The Elder Scrolls: Legends exchanged. As Bethesda announced, the game previously created and further developed by Studio Dire Wolf is now being looked after by Sparkypants Studios.

In the game industry Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls Franchise is certainly one of the most famous and therefore most profitable series. When a FreeToPlay card game similar to Magic the Gathering or Hearthstone was announced based on the popular role-playing game series, the expectations of the players were correspondingly high.

Apparently, however, at least the expectations of Bethesda were disappointed and The Elder Scrolls: Legends was transferred to a new development studio. Exact reasons were not given, of course they would have been satisfied with Dire Wolf etc. but they hope to get more growth and more potential out of the game. The market for online card games is highly competitive. Big names like Blizzard's Hearthstone, GWENT from the Witcher series or the upcoming one Magic the Gathering: Arena and valves Artifact are just a few of the competitors in the battle for player favor.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends - More influence from Bethesda itself

Perhaps because of this, Bethesda promises to exert more influence itself. The aim is to create more and better quality content. The feedback from the players should also flow more into the development. They stay with that core Obtained mechanics from The Elder Scrolls: Legends. So nobody has to be afraid of suddenly finding a completely different game.

In a small question and answer round, it was also announced that all previous content such as extensions, bundles, story content, etc. will continue to be available. Your map collection also remains in its entirety, there is no reset or the like.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends will also be discussed at the upcoming E3 show as part of the Bethesda presentation. There should be more news and details on the future of the card game. The date for this is June 10th, so fans should keep an eye open.
