The World of Tanks Players can expect the great arms race event from May 29th to June 12th.
The players and clans compete against each other and fight to get as many fame points as possible. These fame points vary according to the success in the battle and can be converted into research points. Research points in turn, investments can be made in technological upgrades.
These then - hopefully - lead to more success in the battle and thus to even more Fame Points.
The battles take place on a battlefield consisting of three consecutive fronts. Each of the fronts has different conditions and opportunities for gaining fame points.
For the clans it is now particularly important to find the most effective balance possible between fame points and investing in research points.

World of Tanks - Arms Race
General rules
- The arms race is between that May 29th at 1:00 p.m. and June 12th at 1:00 p.m. (CEST) available.
- The event consists of a single section with no breaks.
- All clans, whether existing or newly created, can take part in the event.
- The map is divided into three fronts: basic, advanced and elite. Access to the areas of the Advanced and Elite Fronts is restricted.
- Revolts are OFF.
- The battles take place in the absolute format, 15 against 15 in Tier X vehicles.
- The duration of the battle is 15 minutes.
- The "fog of war" is active.
- Penalties for not showing up are ON.
- The provincial income in gold is OFF. During the arms race, the provinces give their owners 1 to 3 special bonuses.
- The owner of a province does not take part in tournaments on landing provinces, in landing auctions or in tournaments among the challengers in attacks by land on their own provinces.
- Clans can submit entries for landing tournaments on the Basic Front territory and landing tournaments on the Advanced and Elite Fronts if they own territories on any front.
- Clans cannot attack landing provinces in the area of the basic front by land.
- Clans can attack landing auctions on the territories of the advanced and elite fronts over land.
- Headquarters are OFF. Divisions can be set up in any province.
- The establishment and maintenance of the divisions are free.
- Division modules are AN to a limited extent. All deployed divisions are automatically equipped with the Engineer Battalion module, which reduces movement restrictions between owned provinces by 50 %.
- Landing provinces within the base front area are dynamic and change locations once the landing battles are over.
- The maximum number of participants in a landing tournament is 32.
- The maximum number of participants in a landing tournament on the first day of the segment during World Redistribution is 16.
- Landing provinces within the areas of the Advanced and Elite Fronts are dynamic and change locations as soon as the challengers' battles are over.
- The maximum number of participants in a landing auction within the advanced or elite front is 16 and 8, respectively.
- The maximum number of registrations (available for a clan within a round on the world map) for landings within the basic front is 6. The number of simultaneously available landing registrations depends on the number of members of the clan who have Tier X vehicles in the garage. For example, if 92 members of a clan have a Tier X vehicle, the clan has 6 registrations available. If 89 members of the clan own a Tier X vehicle, that clan only has 5 registrations.
- The battle time shift of 15 minutes is in 50 % of the provinces AN.
- Vehicle lock is ON for battles in the provinces of the elite front. The basic blocking period is 144 hours.
