Another day, another World of Warcraft Hotfix, the developers are currently busy around the clock dealing with the aftermath of the Battle for Azeroth Fix pre-patches. Meanwhile, the displeasure of the gaming community is increasing.

The tons of bugs and balance problems are not exactly what World of Warcraft players are used to from Blizzard. Of course there are always problems after such large patches that need to be improved, but many of the bugs that are currently being fixed are already on the public test server been known.

So the frustration of the fans is mainly focused on Blizzard that Feedback seemingly ignored the test phase and still played the half-finished one on the live server. The times when Blizzard preferred to accept delays and focus on quality seem to be over in the eyes of many fans.

With the upcoming release of Battle for Azeroth on August 14th Blizzard is of course under time pressure, as larger in-game events are planned beforehand.

Classes

• Hunter
  • to survive
    • Snake Venom periodic damage can now critically hit.
    • Kill Orders periodic damage can now critically hit when the Bloodseeker talent is selected.
• monk
  • 'Chistoß' now covers the entire 40 meters as planned.
• warrior
  • protection
    • Dragon Roar now properly generates threat.

Creatures and NPCs

• Bad Tutors' shadow shields no longer absorb too much damage.

Darkshore

• Some creatures on Darkshore can now properly be skinned.

Dungeons & Raids

• The night fortress
  • Astrologer Etraeus
    • Icy Nova no longer does excessive damage.
• Scarlet halls
  • Armorer Harlan's 'Blades of Light' will now unlock players after the duration has expired.
• Trial of the Crusader
  • Anub'arak's Pursuing Spikes will now chase players at the intended speed.

jobs

• Inscription
  • Players will now receive Research: Marine Inests, which allows them to progress in Inscription (Northrend).
  • The ability 'Research: Astral Ink' will now appear in the recipe list of all players who have learned Inscription (Outland).

Quests

• Garrosh should now properly push Overlord Krom'gar off the cliff again during Seeing Is Understanding.
• Kanrethad Blackhead's Excruciating Torment ability no longer deals disproportionately high damage during the “Hunt for the Black Harvest” scenario.
• During "The Battle of Sardor" Karonas will now carry your character across the channel again.
• Fixed a bug that prevented the Defense of Karabor scenario in Shadowmoon Valley from starting as intended for some players.
• Players can now again receive the Magician King's Lantern for "Relics of the Four Kings" in the Mogu'shan Palace.
• Fixed a bug that caused a mana-exhausted whelpling to be visible during The Withered Return.
