While World of Warcraft Patch 7.2 and the Tomb of Sargeras have only just been released, the developers at Blizzard are already working on the next major patch.

7.3 the story of the events in Tomb of Sargeras continued. This time on Argus, the homeworld of the Burning Legion, we are in enemy territory and bring the conflict to our enemies home. So we will meet demon guards on every corner and fight us at every turn.

The area will be kept in the tradition of earlier endgame areas, such as the Molten Front, the Isle of Thunder or the Timeless Isle at the end of Pandaria.

Thus, the players can look forward to a lot of employment in the form of daily quest series and possibly a new world boss.

The Vindicaar is available to us as a starting point for our campaign against the Legion. The Vindicaar is a ship that will serve as a mobile base for our operations and is one of the rare, safe places on Argus. Since Argus is a no-fly zone, the Vindicaar also offers transport options behind the enemy lines. There is a whole network of teleportation stations so that traveling around is easy without flying. These work like flight paths, only without travel time.

World of Warcraft 7.3 - New Magic Animations

In the first version of 7.3 on the PTR some chapters of the new story will be included, as well as new magic animations for different classes like Resto-Druids, Elemental and Resto Shamans, Discipline and Holy Priests and all 3 Mage Specializations. With magicians in particular, you can look forward to new arcane projectiles. Any feedback on the new animations is welcome to Blizzard.

Further features that are being tested for Patch 7.3 and will be implemented on the PTR in the near future:

  • More chapters of the Argus story, including a lot of cutscenes and cinematic moments.
  • New world quests
  • Professions Updates and Epic Gems
  • The Netherlight Crucible, with which you can improve your artifact to unlock new upgrade options.
  • New dungeon: Seat of the Triumvirate
  • A new raid: Antorus, the Burning Throne (Similar to the previous Legion Raids, this one will not be released directly with 7.3.)
  • Invasion Points, a new type of replayable content where you fight the Burning Legion on different worlds.
  • Further improvements and updates to existing features

As soon as more content is built into the PTR, Blizzard promises comprehensive information.

World of Warcraft Patch 7.3 can be tried out on the public test realm.
