The remake of Final Fantasy XII - The Zodiac Age will be released on July 11, 2017, but our colleagues at game.uk have already published a gameplay video today. A full 30 minutes of the revised game are shown and put us in the mood for the adventures of Vaan, Basch, Ashe and many others.<\/p>\n
Final Fantasy XII - The Zodiac Age is the remake of the 2006 for the Playstation 2 released 12th part of the Final Fantasy series. After part 11 was the first online title in the series, the fans got another single player title with an extensive history with FF XII.<\/p>\n
The story is set in the Ivalice region, an area that the players also traveled to in Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story. The war between the great powers Rozzarria and Archadia is creating uncertain times. And our adventure begins with the surrender of the small state of Dalmasca, which was invaded by Archadia. There are a lot of intrigues & incidents at the signing of the surrender, the king is allegedly murdered by Captain Basch. One of his soldiers, Reks, who finds the body, is stabbed by Basch to silence all the witnesses. It is officially announced that Princess Ashe took her own life out of mourning and Basch is said to have been executed as a traitor.<\/p>\n
Two years later, as Reks brother Vaan, we start the long and dangerous journey to find out the truth behind all these lies, intrigues and deceptions.<\/p>\n
In addition to the clearly improved graphics, some technical adjustments have also been made. For example, the new edition uses the job system, in which each character has 2 jobs \/ secondary classes that can be switched between.<\/p>\n
