August is not just an exciting month for World of Tanks developer Wargaming thanks to the upcoming gamescom. With their 19th birthday they have a lot of reason to celebrate and of course they let the fans and players participate.<\/p>\n
Wargaming.net was founded in 1998 by a group of fans who focused on military simulations. From 2003, the studio moved into the focus of players with its Massive Assault series. With the release of World of Tanks in 2010 and its unexpected success, Wargaming finally became a household name in the gaming industry. World of Tanks was originally intended as a niche product to serve fans of historic tank battles, but over the years it has developed into a giant with over 100 million registered players. Even two offshoots have seen the light of day, World of Warplanes and World of Battleships, offer instead of tank battles fights with planes or warships.<\/p>\n

The Top Tier Specials highlight the tanks of the highest tier and have nice discounts and bonuses on their branches all month long.
