It is well known that the dead live longer\u00a0No Man's Sky<\/strong> seems to be following this adage and is getting the next big update. After this Pathfinder update, version 1.2 <\/a>corresponded, comes with Atlas Rises 1.3<\/strong> and brings various new features.<\/p>\n

So far, No Man's Sky has mainly been a huge sandbox space game, huge in the truest sense of the word as players have a full universe with millions of planets to choose from.<\/p>\n

No Man's Sky - Now with story and missions<\/h2>\n

With Atlas Rises<\/strong> Story elements for a new alien race are added. The developers promise 30 hours of history and background details with the update.<\/p>\n

In general, the universe seems to be filling with more life, so next to graphical improvements of the planets there will be more opportunities for trade and conflict.<\/p>\n

Even Missions<\/strong> will be available on the space stations with which the proud spaceship captain can earn something. This gives you a change from the improved and more complex new farms, mines & trading.<\/p>\n

For the basic construction there are new possibilities to edit and change the terrain, with the new terrain manipulation there are far more complex variants than before.<\/p>\n

Fast travel with the new star gates<\/h2>\n

Stargates<\/strong>, so star gates, enable fast travel to other star systems. Before that, they have to be unlocked by deciphering glyphs. These glyph combinations, entered into the Stargates, then determine the destination. Somewhat reminiscent of Stargate SG-1, but offers the right flair for exploring space.<\/p>\n

The developers also have that Space combat<\/strong> dedicated. With new weapons and a new cockpit UI, it should be much easier to maintain an overview and emerge as a winner.<\/p>\n
