The long back and forth has come to an end, which is the previously unannounced Bethesda title this year Doom<\/strong> (2016) for the Nintendo Switch console. Vice PR boss Pete Hines first spread rumors, then denied them and then reintroduced them to the world. But now it is clear that the "new" Doom game from last year will be released for the Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n

Doom for the Switch, unfortunately no Elder Scrolls 6<\/h2>\n

What is one\u2019s joy is another\u2019s sorrow. The huge The Elder Scrolls fan base had finally expected the announcement of The Elder Scrolls 6, after all, Skyrim is now a good 6 years old. A continuation of the successful series is therefore constantly expected. At least today was the release date for the Switch version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim<\/strong> proclaimed. It should be ready on November 17th.<\/p>\n

In the course of this announcement there was the news about the Switch version of Doom and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus<\/strong>. There is no more detailed information about the console versions of the 2 shooters, so it remains to be seen how the quality of the implementation will be. Whether and which compromises have to be made due to the switch hardware will be an interesting topic. If Bethesda succeeds in positioning itself right at the front with the action titles and good implementations on the Switch, they will open up a really large, new market for themselves.<\/p>\n
