An unannounced project at Blizzard is seeking an intern to help create a wide range of assets to help bring our game to life.<\/strong> You will work closely with our concept, environment and character teams to create hard surface and organic props, weapons and possibly characters that are both detail-oriented and consistent with the art style we've defined.<\/em><\/p>\n

RECOMMENDED TALENTS<\/em><\/p>\n

Previously work on game projects as a prop artist or an equivalent type role.<\/em>
\n Knowledge and understanding of the Overwatch universe.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

So it is a previously unannounced project at Blizzard, for which graphics such as surfaces, weapons or characters are to be developed. This has to be done in the style and with the richness of detail that is predefined. At the end it is mentioned that the knowledge and understanding of the Overwatch universe would be an important plus point when applying.<\/p>\n

Speculations now range from a card game to a mobile variant with a corresponding background. A card game would compete with Blizzard's own Hearthstone, so it is unlikely. The possibility of a mobile offshoot sounds a bit better. Rumors about a mobile \u201cReal Time Strategy\u201d game made the rounds some time ago. Maybe these plans have now become more concrete.<\/p>\n
