On the last day of the group stage League of Legends<\/strong> World Championship, it went for the remaining NA team Cloud 9<\/strong> about everything. The 3-time world champions of SKT T1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

But the first accent of the day was Taiwanese ahq e-sports club<\/strong> Team with a win against SKT T1. The Korean team led by Midlaner Faker started the second week with 3-0 wins, but had a few tight matches and seemed to be having a hard time, but only needed one win from 3 matches to advance.<\/p>\n

This means that all 8 teams have been determined for the quarter-finals and the draw for the matches took place immediately afterwards.<\/p>\n

These will take place from October 19-22 and will all be played as a best of 5 series, so the first team with 3 wins will advance. The following matches were drawn:<\/p>\n

  • SK Telecom T1<\/strong> (Korea) against Misfits<\/strong> (EU)<\/li>\n
  • Royal Never Give Up<\/strong> (China) against Fnatic<\/strong> (EU)<\/li>\n
  • Team WE<\/strong> (China) against Cloud 9<\/strong> (N \/ A)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    With this, Cloud 9 has drawn the supposedly easiest lot of the western teams. Team WE played 5: 1 in the group, the other group leaders SKT, RNG and LG showed a much better performance in their games.
