"Legends never die" - "Legends never die" <\/span>This year's League of Legends World Championship was under this motto and so was the title song, which was repeated shortly before the final match live<\/a> was sung.<\/span><\/p>\n

The legend around SKT T1<\/strong> and star players Faker<\/strong>, should experience a new high point with the 4th world championship title and the 3rd title in a row. A unique record that could hardly have been broken and would have made the team immortal. <\/span><\/p>\n

Although SKT was considered the favorite, the team had shown weaknesses. In the group phase and the knockout rounds, there was a lack of the usual sovereignty and the ease with which the opponents were simply swept away in previous world championships. Without the outstanding achievements of SKT Midlaner Faker<\/strong>, the team would have probably already failed to reach the finals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite, or perhaps because of, these difficulties, the saying went around the scene: "10 players chase the Nexus for 40 minutes and in the end SKT T1 wins!"<\/span><\/p>\n

League of Legends - Samsung Galaxy vs. SKT T1 - The Rematch<\/h2>\n

Only Samsung Galaxy stood between SKT and the title and the records. The team which is already the Korean super team on the way to the final Longzshu Gaming<\/strong> Defeated 3-0, had his own legend in mind. After losing in the final of last year's League of Legends World Championship against SKT T1, the players were eager to take revenge.<\/span><\/p>\n

And they should get this ... SKT already lost the first game with 7 deaths and 0 counter kills.<\/span><\/p>\n

Game 2 was a bit tighter, but still went to Samsung and Game 3 was a bitter 40 minute battle. With both teams on par and whose decision was really close. That decision was in Samsung Galaxy's favor and the dream for SKT was over.<\/span><\/p>\n

So much for team Samsung<\/strong> glad that they got their revenge. It hurt so much to see the otherwise stoic, calm Faker devastated. Even the winning team could be seen shaking hands that they had a trace of pity for this extraordinary player who really gave every game 200% for his team in this World Cup.<\/span><\/p>\n

"Legends never die" At least one legend died that day, but who knows? Maybe it's just the beginning of a new legendary story in which Faker and SKT come back to win 3 world championships again. Michael Jordan could be the perfect role model with his 6 NBA titles.<\/span><\/p>\n
