Entertainment Weekly was allowed to spoil the first information about the event:<\/p>\n<p>Thanos is known to have the <strong>Reality Stone<\/strong> and so it is no wonder that he can switch to other universes. In Fortnite he becomes his powers or the power of <strong>6 infinity stones<\/strong> Left to the player who finds the Infinity Gauntlet. This contains the 6 stones and gives the wearer the power of Thanos himself and makes him an almost invincible god.<\/p>\n<h2>Filmmakers are Fortnite fans<\/h2>\n<p>The makers behind the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt4154756\/?ref_=nv_sr_1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Avengers movie<\/a> Joe and Anthony Russo are huge Fortnite fans and players themselves:<\/p>\n<p><em>&quot;Over the past few months, while we were editing <\/em><em>Infinity War<\/em><em>, we&#039;d take breaks to hop on and get in a few games, \u201dJoe exclusively told EW. \u201cAnd then we started thinking, how cool would it be to have some kind of <\/em><em>Avengers<\/em><em>-<\/em><em>Fortnite<\/em><em> mashup? So we stalked Donald. &quot;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Donald Mustard is the creative director of Epic Games, the publisher behind Fortnite was quickly convinced:<\/p>\n<p><em>&quot;Out of the blue, I get this call from Joe. And after a bit of geeking out over each other&#039;s work, we start brainstorming these crazy ideas, &quot;Mustard recalled. \u201cIt was really important that whatever we did, it had to be super authentic to both <\/em><em>Fortnite<\/em><em> and the <\/em><em>Avengers: Infinity War<\/em><em>, and something that fans of both would be excited about.
