It's no secret that Ubisoft is already on The Division 2<\/strong> works, already in March the publisher announced the sequel<\/a>. At that time, however, there was no planned release date or even a period.<\/p>\n

However, in the financial report released today, The Division 2 was announced for the current year. The current fiscal year runs to April 2019,<\/strong> so that would be less than 12 months to release.<\/p>\n

The Division 2 - Ubisoft learns from the mistakes of Part 1<\/h2>\n

The Division 2 is the sequel to the extremely successful first part Tom Clancy's The Division<\/strong>which came out March 2016. The players rushed into a devastated New York to survive the aftermath of Black Friday. On this Black Friday a devastating epidemic was unleashed, the following quarantine and the failure of the basic supply of water and food, plunged New York into chaos.<\/p>\n

As members of the special unit The Division, the players ensured that New York was retaken.<\/p>\n

The sequel is a global project and is being created by studios worldwide. Ubisoft works with Massive Entertainment, Ubisoft Reflections, Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft Annecy \/ Shanghai Bucharest. The developers emphasize that special emphasis is placed on the feedback from fans from Part 1.
