“Off to the jungle” or “I'm a Hearthstone player, get me out of here!” Could be the headline for the next Hearthstone expansion “Journey to Un'Goro”.
Blizzard sends us to the Un'Goro crater, well-known from World of Warcraft. Replete with dinosaurs, volcanoes, secrets and elemental energy.
A total of 135 new cards await us, each class will find 2 new legendaries for themselves. Divided into a spell and a servant, as well as 5 neutral legendaries.
A new mechanic is also introduced: Mutated. The battle cry allows you to choose from 3 modifications and thereby change the servant according to your ideas. This is therefore similar to the well-known Discover game mechanics. The three improvements available for selection are chosen at random from 10 possible:
- +3 attack
- Shield of god
- Cannot be used as a target by spells or hero abilities
- Death Rattle: Summons two 1/1 plants
- Ridicule
- Wind rage
- +1/+1
- +3 lives
- Stealth
- Destroys any servant who was injured by this servant
Quest cards are designed to enrich Hearthstone
Also brand new are quest cards, legendary cards of which you can only have one in your deck and which will always be in your starting hand. They will give you a quest after which a reward is waiting for you.
The priest card “Awakens the creators: Quest summons 7 servants with death rattles. Reward: Keeper of Hope Amara ”. This card also demonstrates the immense strength of the new cards. She is an 8/8 servant with mockery and the battle cry: Put the life of your hero on 40 !! Well, if that doesn't even mean there are many new deck types.
The extension will be released in early April. As with the previous expansions, Blizzard is offering 50 card packages in advance, with which you can secure an exclusive card back.
