Diablo 3 developer Blizzard has announced a Q&A session with Senior Game Designer Travis Day and Lead VFX Artist Julian Love for Tuesday, May 4th. This is an opportunity to learn details about the new necromancer class and glimpse the development process.

You can ask questions that you would like to have answered via Twitter with the hashtag #D3QA. The livestream will be broadcast on Blizzard's Twitch Channel.

Diablo 3 - The Necromancer

The Necromancer will be the new Diablo 3 class to be released this year. At the moment the closed beta test is taking place, from which the first information on the capabilities comes.

On the one hand, there are already details about the set items and bonuses:

• (P6_Necro_Set_1 (2)) (PH) Placeholder Legendary Set name

• 2 pieces: [Your minions have a chance to reduce the cooldown of Army of the Dead by [1] seconds each time they deal damage.]
• 4 pieces: [You gain 1% damage reduction for 5 seconds each time one of your minions deal damage. Max [50] stacks.]
•  6 pieces: [Each active Skeleton Mage increases the damage of your minions and Army of the Dead by 200%.]

• (P6_Necro_Set_2 (2)) (PH) Placeholder Legendary Set name

• 2 pieces: [Blood Rush gains the effect of every rune.]
• 4 pieces: [While at full life, your healing from skills is added to your max life for 45 seconds, up to 100% more.]
• 6 pieces: [Spending 10% life makes life spending attacks remove 10% more life and deal 200% more damage for 30 seconds. Using a skill to heal will consume a stack to heal 300% more.]

• 2 pieces: [Bone Armor damage is increased by 1000%.]
• 4 pieces: [Bone Armor stacks are now refreshed. In addition, Bone Armor grants an additional 2% damage reduction per enemy hit.]
• 6 pieces: [Bone Armor also activates a swirling tornado of bone damaging nearby enemies for 750% weapon damage and increases the damage they take from the Necromancer by 1500%.]

• 2 pieces: [Each corpse you consume fires a corpse lance fragment at a nearby enemy, dealing 800% weapon damage.]
• 4 pieces: [Each enemy you hit with Bone Spear reduces your damage taken by 2%, up to a maximum of 50%. Lasts 15 seconds.]
•  6 pieces: [Each corpse you consume grants you an Empowered Bone Spear charge that increases the damage of your next Bone Spear by 1000%.]
