The semi-finals of the League of Legends tournament MSI are over and the 2 participants of today's final have been determined. 8 of the world's best teams met in the main round of the tournament, but only the two best made it into the final. In addition, Ronaldo will be there as a star guest.
The League of Legends World Champions from Korea are in the MSI final
The favorites from Korea secured themselves on Friday SKT T1 with her star player Faker relatively safe the ticket for the final. The best of 5 match ended 3-0 for SKT, their opponents, the Flash Wolves from Taiwan, never found their shape. Before the games, many saw SKT at an advantage, but since the Flash Wolves were able to beat SKT in the group stage, everyone was looking forward to an even match.
Perhaps just warned by the defeat, SKT showed no nakedness. The games could be reduced to the formula SKT gets Baron Nashor = SKT wins. The longest game lasted only 31 minutes, sometimes the Baron Buff didn't even have the chance to run out.
The three-time world champions are now in the final of the League of Legends Mid Season Invitational.
The 2nd semi-final with the surprise for Europe
Your final opponents were determined tonight in the encounter between the European team G2 Esports and the Chinese representatives of Team WE.
Team WE had finished the group stage in second place, while G2 could only secure their progress to the last second on the last day. Team WE was considered to be a contender for victory, but things turned out differently. The first match was a lot of action and G2 won it in the end thanks to a single Minion? Don't you think so?
Here is the video evidence Without these heroic little fellows, the tower's backdoor protection would have started and Team WE would have found time to start a counterattack.

Match 2 also went to G2 who were only one victory away from reaching the final. But Team WE didn't want to give up so quickly and decided Match 3 for themselves, so that it was 2: 1.
After Team WE shooter Mystic had ensured victory in Match 3 with an excellently played Kog'Maw, WE relied on the fragile alien again. But even with Tahm Kench as protector it was not enough. G2 Esports had thus secured a place in the final.
The members of Team G2 Esports will meet SKT T1 there, this game will take place on today Sunday evening, from around 8 p.m. instead and will be live on Riot's Twitchchannel transfer.
There will also be a special guest for the League of Legends Mid Season Invitational Final Ceremony, none other than the world soccer star Ronaldo, who was world champion with the Brazilian team in 1994 and 2002, will have an appearance.
We are excited to announce that two-time World Cup Champion @Ronaldo will be joining us for the #MSI2017 closing ceremony tomorrow! pic.twitter.com/8oS8HzF0eT
