With the new Stormblood extension for Final Fantasy XIV, which will be released on June 20th, 2017, there are many changes and revisions.
The developers yesterday in a 3 hour live stream, explained all the changes that Final Fantasy XIV awaits with the expansion and will revamp the game with version 4.0.
Final Fantasy XIV - Revision of the skill system
The skill system in particular is the focus of the improvements. Many classes now have an unnecessarily complicated skill rotation. This is a problem, especially in view of the limited space on the skills strips. Because of this, some skills are removed and others merged. Likewise, some skills are now classified as role-specific instead of class-specific.
This makes the whole system more straightforward and less overwhelming for new players, but still offers the same complexity for seasoned veterans.
Another positive effect of the revision can be seen if you land in a low instance in Dungeon Roulette. At the moment you can't use high spells like Stone 4, you had to drag Stone 1 or 2 onto the bar. With 4.0 this is a thing of the past and the highest skill for the current level is automatically used.
The team also looks at every skill in all classes. For example, healer damage is based on Mind instead of Intelligence from the expansion. This also changes the Cleric Stance ability and increases damage by 5% for 15 seconds.
On the tanks, parrying on the objects is replaced by tenacity. Tenacity reduces the damage taken and increases the damage you deal at the same time. Such small changes can be found in all classes and will hopefully be sent to us as a complete list in the next few days.
Job Potions for a faster connection
Another big news was the introduction of so-called jumping potions. Comparable to the level boost in World of Warcraft, these shorten the level and quest process.
The goal of the Potions is to make it easier to re-enter or to re-enter. If you are currently trying to start in Final Fantasy 14, you will first have the complete main story quests of A Realm Reborn and Heavensward. As well as the countless stories that were inserted "in the way" with the updates. Getting started quickly and playing with friends who have been FF14 fans for a long time requires a lot of time. Everyone should have gone through the epic background story, but it takes time to get started with friends.
Therefore there will be different potions, one for the main quest of A realm reborn to complete (18 US dollars), a second for the Heavensward Mainquest (25 US dollars). Of course you get important rewards like the chocobos or you are automatically assigned to the Grand Company of your hometown. All film sequences can also be viewed later.

The Job Potions (US $ 25) will set the character to level 60, including the weapon and all job quests. All skills have been learned and access to the Hall of Novices is granted. You will only be able to use one potion per account and of course not for the new jobs, samurai and red mage.
So a lot of things that will change with Bloodstorm. The You can see the full video with the developers on the official Final Fantasy XIV Twitch Channel find.
