Hearthstone - Patch 7.1 released

Hearthstone

To coincide with the start of the March ranked season, Hearthstone developer Blizzard has installed patch 7.1 on the servers. This marks the beginning of preparations for the release of the Hearthstone - Journey to Un'goro expansion.

There are also updates for the arena and the rated mode, as well as balancing changes to two maps.

Hearthstone Arena

From now on you will only get standard cards for the composition of your arena deck. Rare, Epic and Legendary cards will be available more often. Spells should occur more frequently. Neutral cards from the basic and classic set are becoming rarer.

Something has also been done for the optics. If you have the gold version of a card, your arena card will also be gold. If you have multiple gold versions of the cards, all copies of this card will be gold. With this, Blizzard fulfills the long-cherished wish of avid gold card collectors.

Hearthstone - Ranked Mode

With the March season, further "security ranks" will be introduced. So far you could not drop to the 21st after reaching the 20th rank after a defeat. This has now been extended to 20/15/10/5 / legend.

Hearthstone - Balancing

  • Small Buccaneers health reduced from 2 to 1.
  • Spirit Claw mana cost increased from 1 to 2.

Let's see if this can stem the flood of pirate decks and ensure more diversity in the ranked.

The keyword Poisonous has also been introduced for servants with the effect: Minions with this keyword destroy every enemy servant they damage.

The complete patch notes contain further bug fixes, memory optimizations, as well as improvements to the mobile account creation and are on the Blizzard - Hearthstone Page to find.
