Anyone who expected the announcement of a DLC for Dishonored 2 at E3 was pleasantly surprised tonight. Dishonored 2: Death of the Outsider is a new stand-alone title from the popular game series.

Dishonored 2: Death of the Outsider - More than just a DLC

The developers at Arcane Studios present the next chapter in the history of Dishonored. In the role of the famous, infamous Billie Lurk, we return to the world of Corvo Attano.

As in the other parts of the series, players embody an assassin with supernatural abilities. Together with her mentor Daud, Billie embarks on the most difficult assignment of all time: to kill the Outsider.

The death of the outsider makes use of the graphics engine and the battle system of Dishonored 2. This means that it has all the features that make the series so popular with fans. The combat system offers variations for every taste and allows the supernatural abilities to be used at any time to free yourself from even the most tricky situations.

As in all parts, we can leave the fighting and sneak through the levels. The sophisticated architecture of the levels allows different paths to the goal. Already in Dishonored 2 there was an achievement if the entire game was not discovered once. You could just as well stun each individual guard or murder them from ambush.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Although Daud offers a familiar character, it is also an ideal entry point for newcomers to the series.

The new title should be released on September 15th and will be available for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
