4 exciting days of League of Legends are behind us and finally the question of supremacy between NA and EU has been clarified. The bad news for us Europeans first: The North American Team SoloMid has the Unicorns of Love crushed.

Before the final, most of them had expected a hard-fought Best of 5 series, after all, the Unicorns were the only team that Team SoloMid could beat in this tournament.

The reality then looked a little different. Match 1 ended in 31 minutes with 24 to 4 kills for Team SoloMid. TSM Midlaner Bjergsen showed that he can also dominate his opponent with Leblanc and led the statistics with 10 kills.

In Match 2 the tragedy repeated itself for all Unicorn fans, 30 minutes: 17 to 6 kills and TSM was only one victory away from the title. An outstanding Baron Steal from Jungler Svenskeren ruined the comeback chance for Unicorns of Love.

The start of the third match then gave new hope, the Unicorn of Love Botlane won First Blood and the whole team built up a small gold lead. Team SoloMid was very focused, first Tower Blood went to TSM and they were also able to secure the first kite.

Thanks to a won team fight that brought them 2 towers, the Unicorns were ahead at the 20 minute mark for the first time in this tournament.

TSM struck back just a few minutes later, however, a clear aces in the midlane brought Team SoloMid back the Baron and, with the following towers, the gold lead.

The hard-fought match continued in this style, none of the teams held back. Until TSM won the decisive team fight at the opposing bot inhibitor tower. Team SoloMid won the title and set the tone NA> EU.

For EU this was a clear warning signal, the gaps in their macro game were discovered and exploited by the American teams. A few months before the World Cup, they have to improve their tactics as quickly as possible in order to survive internationally.

For America and especially Team SoloMid this was the long-awaited satisfaction to win another international tournament. The team played significantly better in all positions, and the much-shaken jungler Svenskeren also performed well on various champions. TSM's botlane also seems to have regained its shape. Now the only thing left is not to rest on this success, because the opponents from Korea are of a different caliber.
