Actually, that's what you expect Path of Exile Developers take a little break after the expansion has successfully launched, but far from it. Path of Exile started yesterday in China, where GGG is working with publisher Tencent. Tencent is also a partner of the well-known League of Legends developer Riot.
The Xbox One version of Path of Exile is also scheduled for release later this week. In addition to all these events, the developers are now giving us an overview of the next plans for their FreetoPlay game.
Harbinger League improvements:
The current league is being revised further, the next step is to shorten most of the Harbinger matches. The time until the minions were summoned took a little too long, so the summoning time is shortened.
The currency units dropped by the Harbingers are grouped together so that less time is spent picking them up.
GGG also provides an explanation for the change in the drops in the Beachhead Map. Since the access rate was doubled, the immense drop rate had to be adjusted.
As an aid to characters with an Animate Weapon Build, the final Beachhead fight will be adjusted so that base items drop and serve as ammunition.
These changes should be implemented within a week.
The currency boxes tab
Even if the developers do not want to enlarge the currency tab for every currency, in every temporary league and thus make it more confusing, there will be some new places. 6 permanent new slots for Orbs of Annulment, Annulment Shrds, Chaos Shards, Regal Shards, Exalted Shards and Mirror Shards are planned at the moment.
Path of Exile - Release Planning
Up to Patch 3.0.0 there was new content every 13 weeks, alternating expansions and new leagues. The developers now want to return to these periods and the next major update should come in the first week of December. Surprisingly, this will be an expansion, if not as much as The Fall of Oriath. Of course there will be balance updates and small improvements like the Harbinger changes in the meantime.
So let's be surprised what new features await us in December.
