PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, a popular game, is no longer surprising. 8 million copies sold and that is still in the Early Access phase.
Last week, the number of players on Steam beat DOTA 2, the all-time leader, for the first time. Something that no game has succeeded in for years, especially when you consider that DOTA 2 is a free-to-play game, while the PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS Early Access costs 29 €.
The Battle Royal Shooter has even sold so well that it is the best-selling game of 2017 on all platforms, PC and consoles.

Of course, the year is not over yet and with Destiny 2 & Call of Duty: WW II still have some real bangers ahead of us. Still, a really impressive performance.
