While PC gamers look forward to their version of Final Fantasy XV wait, there's a 20 minute gameplay video from Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition. Anyone who has classified the mobile version of the epic role-playing game as impossible so far will be in for a surprise.
At the PAX games fair in the USA this weekend new information and a playable demo version were shown. From this demo version comes the video that shows the beginnings of the game.
Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition - Almost a 1: 1 implementation of the RPG hit
The farewell to Prince Noctis and his 3 traveling companions Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus by Regis the King of Lucis. The breakdown of the Regalia and how the 4 friends end up in the Hammerhead workshop and meet Cindy forms the prelude to the orders and battles in the world.

The combat system is also implemented surprisingly well. Despite the switch to the touchscreen control, it is possible to parry or evade attacks and even necessary for the heavier bosses and opponents. A good example of how more demanding games can be implemented for mobile.

The voice output is also retained in the mobile version and thus offers almost a 1: 1 implementation of Final Fantasy XV. If you have already played the game on your home console, you have fewer reasons to look at the mobile version, but if you have not used FFXV and want to bridge the waiting time until the PC release should take a look.
Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition will be released later this year and will be available in episode form.
According to previous plans, the first episode will be free and thus represent the ideal entry / test opportunity.
The PC version of FFXV awaits us in early 2018 via Steam.
