Rising Storm 2: Vietnam - New ANZAC update in progress

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam

At PAX West, which takes place this weekend in the USA, the next free update for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam announced.

The Rising Storm 2: Vietnam expansion comes under the abbreviation ANZAC

The update runs under the working title "ANZAC" and is quite extensive. With the "Australia and New Zealand Army Corps" - hence the abbreviation ANZAC- the new faction of the Australian and New Zealand Army comes into play. There are also a lot of new weapons, two new maps and a new helicopter.

The new cards are "Long Tan" and "Rung Sat" and each offer variations with area control mode and domination mode. The maps are based on the historical details of the Battle of Long Tan 1966 and accordingly show the attacks of the Australian infantry. "Rung Sat" is located in the heavily forested marshland that is now known as Cần Giờ Mangrove Forest and in 1966 was also a battle area.

As a new helicopter, the update will bring the bus ranger. The bushranger is the Australian Air Force's nickname for the Huey helicopters.

The ANZAC troops will have their own uniforms and variations. The corresponding setting is of course also in development. As a new Commander ability, the new faction brings the "Canberra Bomber Attack" which refers to the Australian aircraft of the type English Electric Canberra.

The update for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is currently in early development. Alpha and beta tests are planned for this fall and the release in about 2-3 months.

You can find the teaser video of the developers at the beginning of the article.
